🚨 WATCH FOR: Red Flags in Menopause Supplement Marketing
Promises to “Reverse” or “Cure” Menopause
Menopause is a natural biological transition, not a condition to be cured. Any brand promising to reverse it, eliminate every symptom, or replace hormone therapy entirely is overselling what a supplement can do.
Undisclosed Doses Hiding Behind “Proprietary Blends”
If a label lists ten ingredients under one combined milligram number, you can’t tell whether any of them are at a dose shown to do anything in research. Transparent brands publish per-ingredient amounts.
No Mention of Talking to a Doctor, Anywhere
A responsible menopause supplement brand should encourage you to loop in your physician, especially if you’re on hormone therapy, blood thinners, or have a history of hormone-sensitive conditions. If a brand’s marketing never mentions your doctor, that’s a red flag, not reassurance.
Spot any of these? Skip the hype and stick to brands that are upfront about what a supplement can and can’t do for you.
